  • Knowledge of a business for sale that can provide at least $10 million per year revenue with good upside with your management. An EBITDA of at least $2 million per year is prefered.
  • Strongly support and drive business vision alignment
  • Full profit and loss (P&L) responsibility
  • Experience with green field wood plant projects preferred
  • Identify opportunities, deviations, trends, and problems and utilize business process expertise to develop and implement improvement plans to better serve customers
  • Lead teams of core resources in identifying and framing up business problems and potential solutions as well as working with key leadership teams on large scale capital and human resource projects
  • Ensure that major capital and plant optimization projects have the right vision, scope, budget, staffing, governance, and resources to solve the right problems
  • Providing leadership with regular updates as well as project management office for large business process transformation initiatives to investors

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years’ multiple plant wood products experience in a leadership capacity
  • A minimum of five (5) years of a Vice President, COO or similar top-level executive experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or engineering preferred
  • Commitment of a minimum of 6 years to the position.
  • Knowledge of a business or businesses for sale that have at least $10 million in possible yearly revenue.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Open innovation and market research methodologies
  • Experience assessing mega and emerging trends and influencing growth strategies
  • Proven leadership and collaboration
  • Track record of profitable decision making through applied economic thinking
  • Track record of holding self and teams accountable to deliver on projects
  • Technical leadership roles in at least two different businesses
  • Intellectual property management know-how
  • Demonstrated ability to work across business capabilities to identify, prioritize, and deliver on market-back opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to represent previous companies in various business/technical relationships
  • Strong marketing experience with building products
