Description:
The Production Supervisor in South Carolina reports to the Green End Superintendent. In this role you will lead a dedicated team to achieve and exceed key performance indicators (KPI) targets in safety, quality, cost control, delivery, and employee engagement. Your leadership will cultivate a culture of excellence, significantly enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent, Two-years college or technical degree preferred
- Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. Wood products experience is highly desired.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities:
- Work with other departments to achieve operational goals.
- Maintain the highest safety standards, ensuring compliance with all policies, procedures, practices, and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain and monitor production goals.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce costs while safely meeting production targets.
- Foster open communication and engage employees for input into work processes and systems.
- Ensure timely implementation of key corporate and operational initiatives and assist in troubleshooting equipment.
- Coach, train, and support team members to maximize performance.
- Address unsafe conditions promptly and proactively.
